UDHAMPUR, Jan 10: In separate cases, a bus driver among two persons was found dead under mysterious circumstances, here today.
According to police reports, a bus driver, namely Ajay Kumar (25), son of Indu Kumar, resident of Ward number 8 in Ramnagar, was found dead in his bus, parked at New Bus Stand Udhampur, this morning.
The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the dead body to family of the deceased. Inquest proceedings, under section 174 CrPC, have been initiated in this regard to ascertain the cause of death.
Meanwhile, in another case, Chenani Police received an information that one person namely Ramesh Chand (47), son of Shanker, resident of Mohra Hars, Gharrian Kalan Tehsil Chenani, was lying dead in a Nallah at Gharrian Kalan in Chenani.
Cause of death could not be immediately ascertained. A case has been registered in this connection under Section 174 CrPC for further investigation.
