Sikhs never compromised with anti-nationals: Forum

JAMMU, Jan 11: All J&K1947 POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum held a meeting of its Core Committee members here, today under the presidentship of Amrik Singh which among others was addressed by the secretary of the Forum, Surjit Singh.
The Forum expressed its satisfaction over the landslide announcement made by Prime Minister, Narindera Modi recently on Bal Diwas in the sweet memory of four Sahebzade of Sahebe Kamaal, Sri Guru Gobind Singh keeping in view their martyrdom and great sacrifices made for the sake of country and who fought against cruelty and forcible conversions. The Forum further elaborated that the Sikhism is based on patriotism. They never compromised with Anti national elements. The Forum said that in the Congress rule during the past 60years nothing was done in this regard even in the long term Prime Ministership of Manmohan Singh who belonged to Sikh community.
This type of announcement Showed broad mindedness and intelligentsia of Narindera Modi who has great regards of Sikhism as well as the Gurus sacrifices.
The Forum also appealed to the Singh Sahib Jathedar Shri Akal Takhat Sahib to give their proposal to Prime Minister with regard to change of name as Bal Diwas so that the matter may be solved amicably.
The Core Committee members strongly condemned the act of Punjab Chief Minister for security lapses during the Prime Minister’s visit to Punjab.
