UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: In an apparent case of suicide, a teen- aged girl was found hanging in a cow shed near her house at Pattangarh in Tehsil Chenani.
According to the Police reports, Rekha Devi (17), daughter of Ram Chand Bhagat, resident of Pattangarh, was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in the cow shed.
On being informed by the family members, who saw her hanging, a Police team led by SHO Chenani Charanjeet Singh rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem.
Police have also initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC and started further investigation into the case.
