RAJOURI, Jan 17: A young girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Budhal area of district Rajouri today.
Police sources said that parents of the victim, 21-year old Shaheen Akhtar (name changed), resident of Dandote village lodged an FIR with the Budhal police alleging that one Mudasir Hussain, son of Faqir Mohd Thakur, resident of Dandote entered their house when girl was alone and raped her.
The police then registered a case FIR No. 04/ 2022 under section 452. 376 RPC and after conduct of medical examination of the girl started investigation. The accused was still at large.
