REASI, Jan 18: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh today constituted a committee of four officers for conducting an enquiry into the incident at Tunnel T13-P2 at Sawalkote on January 15.
The committee, headed by Additional DC Reasi, shall inquire into the reasons which led to the incident and submit its report within ten days.
The committee shall also examine the safety measures adopted by the Railway authorities for their workers and examine the norms of construction of the project for handling such incidents.
Pertinent to mention that around 70 Meters span of an under contraction Railway tunnel (T13 – P2) at Sawalkote had collapsed on January 15, in which five labourers sustained minor injuries.
