JAMMU, Jan 19: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader Baldev Singh Billawaria along with Councilor, Sunita Koul today kick started construction of lane and drain work at Ward Number 4, Kali Janni in Jammu East constituency.
These works are being done by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at a cost of about Rs13 lakh.
Billawaria, while speaking on the occasion, said that the BJP Government led by Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country. He said that the main objective of the BJP is to ensure the development works in every region equally with complete sincerity and the BJP Government has worked on the basic principle of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’.
He said that the BJP party has been continuously striving to raise the standard of living of the last man by working on the principle of Integral Humanism of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay and ever since the BJP took over the charge of the Municipal Corporation, the development works of the Jammu city got a pace. He said that the main goal of the Municipal Corporation is that all the wards under Jammu city will be made modern wards and work is being done at every level to provide all kinds of basic facilities to the people even during the Corona period.
He said that the way Councilor Sunita Koul has done the development related works for the people of the ward, was commendable .
Councilor, Sunita Koul said that she is resolving the development related problems of the people. Continuous development work is going on in ward number 04 and soon all the development works will be done in a phased manner.
Raj Kumar Sharma, Rama Krishna, Suresh Abrol, Yogesh Gupta, Kanav Abrol, Meena Dogra, Lalit Dogra, Darshana Devi, Geeta Devi and others were present on the occasion.
