RAJOURI, Jan 23: The dead body of a youth was found hanging in his room in Nowshera area while a Bihari labourer was found lying dead under mysterious circumstances in his rented room in Sunderbani area today.
Police sources said that the dead body of one person namely, Nitesh Kumar (24), son of Surinder Kumar, resident of village Nonial in Tehsil Nowshera was found hanging in his house with ceiling fan hook today. The family members spotted him and informed police.
The Police party of Police Station Nowshera rushed to the spot and took the dead body into its custody and brought it to SDH Nowshera . After postmortem and completion of all legal formalities, the dead body of deceased was handed over to legal heirs at 11.10 hrs today. Inquest proceedings u/s 174 CrPC have been initiated in this connection.
Meanwhile, today at around 10-30 am, a laborer from Bihar namely Dharamveer Singh (50yrs), son of Akalsh Singh, resident of Pirarpanti, Kohagogri, in Bihar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his room at Sunderbani. He was working in the Cement store of one Sham Lal and residing on the upstairs of the store.
Store owner informed police that he was found dead and other persons lying in unconscious state. Police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to SDH Sunderbani for post mortem. Police investigation was in progress.
