SRINAGAR, Jan 27: SKIMS today extended its MRD Counter services at Maternity Hospital which will now remain functional 24×7 for the convenience of patients.
As per SKIMS PRO, the MRD Counter will now remain functional round the clock. “Initially it was serviceable only up to 4:00 PM and patients were facing a lot of difficulties in getting Registration Cards beyond the hours.”
It said that in response to public demand the administration addressed the issue on priority, it is hoped to bring relief to the patients.
Also, SKIMS today has operationalized a specific drug counter in the COVID block for the convenience of patients.
As per the PRO SKIMS, Medical Superintendent SKIMS informed that the drug counter has been opened and is functional from today.
“It was a public demand that the IDB/ COVID block should have a separate drug counter,” MS said.
The drug counter, as per SKIMS PRO, will have all required drugs available and it will be convenient for the patients admitted in COVID block who otherwise had to purchase drugs from the main pharmacy SKIMS.
“The services are hoped to bring relief to the COVID patients for drug procurement.”
