JAMMU, Aug 8: State Vigilance Organization has caught a meter reader of PDD red handed for taking bribe at Dyansar Bari Brahmana today.
According to reports the Vigilance Department on the basis of a compliant of one Chet Ram that the metre readers of PDD Vasudev Singh was demanding bribe from him, the organization sleuths laid a trap today and caught the metre reader red handed taking Rs 1500 as bribe.
He was arrested by sleuths of the Vigilance Organization and a case under relevant sections of prevention of Corruption Act was registered against him.
