DODA, Aug 8: Blasoo, a small village in district Doda, is without electricity supply for the last nine months.
Despite repeated pleas to the PDD authorities, district administration and the local MLA, the supply has not yet been restored.
According to a local Bal Krishan Manhas, the power supply had got snapped due to snowfall and consequent breakage of poles, last winter. Since then we have visited the DC office and local MLA several times highlighting our problem but no action has been taken to restore the power supply, he lamented.
We appeal to administration Doda to provide electricity supply in the village, said Vishal Singh Manhas, district vice president Shri Ram Sena.
District president Youth JKNPP Neeraj Singh Manhas threatened protests if electricity supply to Blasoo village is not restored within 2 days.
