JAMMU, Jan 29: A deputation of Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal (FAIVM) today met Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr Raghav Langar and requested him to lift the lockdown restrictions in Jammu.
During the meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, FAIVM president Sanjay Bansal said as cases are now declining in Jammu province, Divisional administration should lift the lockdown restrictions in Jammu. It’s also in better interest of economy and trade fraternity, he added while presenting a memorandum of demands to Dr Langar.
“Delhi Government and many other state Governments have lifted the lockdown restrictions for the betterment of economy and whole business community. Traders in Jammu are facing tough times because of prevailing situation, so, administration should immediately lift weekend lockdown restrictions,” he asserted.
Those present in the meeting were Federation vice president Sandeep Mengi, secretary Arun Sabharwal and joint secretary Sanjeev Aggarwal.
