JAMMU, Aug 8: In a major reshuffle in the judiciary, High Court today ordered transfers and postings of 30 Judicial Officers with immediate effect.
According to the order issued by Suresh Kumar Sharma, Registrar General of the High Court, Sanjay Dhar, Presiding Officer MACT, Jammu has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Leh vice Sanjay Parihar.
Mohd Akram Chowdhary, Principal District and Sessions Judge Ramban has been transferred and posted on deputation as Presiding Officer MACT, Jammu vice Sanjay Dhar. Rajesh Sekhri, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Ramban vice Mohd Akram Chowdhary.
Romesh Kumar Wattal, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Udhampur vice M K Sharma. Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat, PO J&K Industrial Tribunal Labour Court has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam vice Mohan Singh Parihar.
Kishore Kumar Bhagat, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Poonch has been transferred and posted on deputation as Presiding Officer, J&K Labour and Industrial Tribunal vice Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat. Bala Jyoti, President Divisional Consumers Protection Forum, Jammu has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Additional District Judge (Bank Cases), Jammu against the vacant post.
Subash Chander Gupta, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar vice Sham Lal. Mohd Yousaf Wani, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pulwama has been transferred and posted on deputation as President, Divisional Consumer Protection Forum, Srinagar against the vacant post.
Sanjay Parihar, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Leh has been transferred and posted as Additional Sessions Judge, Anticorruption, Jammu vice Jaffer Hussain Beig. Mohd Ali Khan, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajouri against the vacant post.
Nighat Sultana, Additional District Judge (Matrimonial Cases), Jammu has been transferred and posted as 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu vice Subash Chander Gupta. Syed Tauqeer Ahmad, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Budgam vice Shazad Azeem, who has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pulwama vice Mohd Yousaf Wani.
Jaffer Hussain Beig, Additional Sessions Judge, Anticorruption Jammu has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Poonch vice Kishore Kumar Bhagat. Mohan Singh Parihar, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam has been transferred and posted on deputation as President, Divisional Consumer Protection Forum, Jammu vice Bala Jyoti.
Sham Lal Lalhal, Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional District Judge (Matrimonial), Jammu vice Nighat Sultana. Mohd Ashraf Malik, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ganderbal vice Syed Tawqeer Ahmad. M K Sharma, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Udhampur has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bhaderwah vice Brij Mohan Gupta.
Madan Lal, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar has been transferred and posted on deputation as Judicial Member J&K Special Tribunal, Jammu against the vacant post. Yash Pal Kotwal, 3rd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Reasi vice Rajesh Sekhri. Haq Nawaz Zargar, temporarily appointed as District Judge, has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora vice Mohd Ali Khan. Tahir Khursheed Raina, temporarily appointed as District Judge, has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kargil vice Shakti Kumar Gupta.
Shazia Tabasum, Tasleem Arief and Sonia Gupta, temporarily appointed as District Judge, have been posted as 2nd Additional District aned Sessions Judge, Srinagar, Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge, Baramulla and Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kathua respectively.
Similarly, Rajinder Sapru and Naseer Ahmad Dar, temporarily appointed as District Judge, have been posted as 3rd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar and Additional District and Sessions Judge, Anantnag respectively.
Muzaffar Iqbal Qureshi, District Judge, recommended for compulsory retirement, will remain attached with Registrar Judicial High Court Wing, Srinagar till further orders. Similarly, Brij Mohan Gupta and Shakti Kumar Gupta, District Judges, recommended for compulsory retirement, will remain attached with Registrar Judicial High Court Wing, Jammu till further orders.
