JAMMU, Feb 4: Vibodh Gupta, general secretary, J&K BJP and Ex-MLC reiterated the words of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for his long-term goal of building a Naya (new) Jammu-Kashmir by ensuring justice to all the marginalized sections of the society.
Vibodh Gupta, accompanied by J&K BJP media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra while interacting with media at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah, the J&K will see holistic development of all the communities.
“After August 5, 2019 , in New Jammu & Kashmir, Gujjar-Bakkarwals, West Pak refugees and others neglected sections were ensured justice and soon justice will also be ensured to Pahari Tribe and OBC by BJP Government by providing ST status to them and due reservation to OBCs”, Gupta said.
Gupta said that BJP is working for the development of persons belonging to Other Backward Classes and Pahari Speaking People, who are also deprived of various welfare Schemes. Earlier, Quota for OBCs of J&K was not at par with the other States/UTs, but now equality has been ensured. He said that, Pahari speaking people, who live in Rajouri-Poonch, Uri Karnah and other districts, are being benefitted from the schemes of the Modi Government.
He said that PM Modi is working on lines that “Hum Delhi Ki Doori Bhi Mitana Chahte Hain Aur Dil Ki Doori Bhi (We want to reduce the distance with Delhi and also the distance between hearts)” and showing passionate gesture towards the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Gupta further said that BJP follows the policy of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and this principle is evident in the development projects that have been specifically designed to develop the border belts and the public welfare schemes that have been concentrated to uplift the socio-economic status of the earlier neglected sections.
