Ankur Maitrika Hospital starts Emergency & Trauma Unit

JAMMU, Feb 4: Ankur Maitrika Hospital, Channi Himmat has started their Emergency and Trauma Unit with successful operation of a patient from district Reasi.
The patient came to the hospital on February 1 at 8:30 PM and was subsequently operated by Dr Satvir Singh, Head of Trauma Unit. Dr Satvir Singh was previously associated with Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. The case was of comminuted fracture of neck of femur in a 48-year-old male and was operated successfully with internal fixation of fracture. The patient is now comfortable and back on his feet.
Dr Singh said that Ankur Maitrika Hospital is a boon for the people of Jammu as it has all the modern equipments and facilities at par with any other hospital in North India. He further added that with the start of Trauma & Orthopaedic Unit at Ankur Maitrika Hospital, people of Jammu need not to leave the state for orthopaedic treatment as all such treatments like fracture fixation, joint replacement, sport injury treatment with arthroscopy, etc are available at Ankur Maitrika Hospital.
