AICC PRO reviews progress on Congress membership drive

Jammu, Feb 5: Former Member Parliament and AICC PRO for J&K, Ranjita Ranjan has appreciated the party cadre in the Jammu and Kashmir for their commitment and dedication towards the party in difficult time and said that they have stood the test of the time against the dictatorial policies of the BJP and would emerge stronger in future.
AICC observers (Pradesh Returning Officers), Ranjita Ranjan along with APROs Amee Yajnik (MP) and Sukwant Barar today visited Jammu and held day long interaction with senior functionaries of party including PCC office bearers, District presidents, former ministers/legislators, frontal heads, Corporators and other prominent leaders and activists of party and took stock of the ongoing membership drive of the party.
She asked the party workers to strengthen the polling booths by enrolling strong and committed party workers including women, Youth, SC, ST, OBC in their respective areas in order to strengthen the party and to carry forward the message of the leadership to the electorates. She briefed the different units of the party about the process and procedure of the membership and adhere to the time line fixed by the Election Commission of the party. The membership shall be followed by elections of delegates from booth up to AICC level who shall elect the presidents at respective levels.
The series of interactions with different unit leaders continued whole day. The PCC president GA Mir along with all senior functionaries of PCC, former ministers, Legislators, district heads, Frontal Heads, Corporators and other prominent leaders attended the meeting.
