JAMMU, Feb 5: Prominent political and social personalities from Thanna Mandi area, of Rajouri joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party president, Ravinder Raina at party Headquarter, here, today.
J&K BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta and party leader, Thakur Randhir Singh accompanied party president on the occasion.
Mushtaq Khan contractor, Shahnwaz Khan, Naib Panch, Shakeel Khan, Abdul Hamid, Sadeeq Khan Ex-Serviceman, Ajaz Khan, Mohammad Rafiq, Naib Panch, Shamsheer Khan, Gulfraz Ahmed, Mehmood Khan and others from Thanna Mandi area, Rajouri along with political leaders of NC PDP and other parties with their dozens of supporters joined BJP on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina, while welcoming the new entrants said that they are prominent social and political workers who along with supporters have joined BJP. He said that BJP welcomes them with open arms into the family. He said that BJP is the best platform to serve the nation and society with selfless efforts.
Raina said that everybody irrespective of region or religion wants to join the BJP as a result of the keen and dedicated efforts of BJP workers led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Vibodh Gupta, while lauding the decision of new entrants to join the BJP, said that BJP is of the firm view that they will give their best efforts for the development in the region without any prejudice, while working for the extension of the party activities in the region.
New entrants said that due to the strong leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, today everybody is keen to join BJP. They assured the senior party leadership that they will work in accordance with the party principles and especially for the common masses of the region.
