JAMMU, Feb 6: The police has apprehended eight persons in connection with the murder of a youth Akram Shah, son of Ali Akbar Shah in Budhal area of Rajouri district.
A police spokesman said that Akram Shah was shot dead by some unknown persons when he was sleeping in his room at Targain by using a pistol two days ago. Those detained in this question are identified as- Mukhtar Shah, son of Nazir Shah; Javid Iqbal, son of Hussain Shah; Aftar Shah, son of Mubrak Shah; Zamman Shah, son of Faqir Shah; Anwar Shah, son of Suleman Shah; Abdul Rashid, son of Mohd Ismail- all residents of Targain and Mohd Taj and Zulafqar Hussain, sons of Abdul Hamid Gujjar, residents of Lathi in Budhal. A case FIR No. 08/2022 u/s 302 IPC 7/25/27 Indian Arms Act stands registered against the accused persons at Police Station, Budhal.
