JAMMU : A Border Security Force jawan was today seriously injured in firing by Pakistan Rangers, who violated the truce along the International Border in Kana Chak sector of Jammu.
“Pakistan Rangers violated ceasefire and fired small arms at forward posts of BSF Kan Chak sector,” an official spokesperson said.
He said the BSF retaliated and jawan Pawan Kumar of 122 battalion was seriously injured in exchange of fire.
“The injured jawan was immediately shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, the spokesperson said, adding that intermittent firing was continuing when the last report came in. (AGENCIES)
