Proper drainage system must to make Jammu smart city: Baru

JAMMU, Feb 7: BJP senior leader and JMC councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru started construction work of drain at KC Hazuri Bagh along with BJP Ward president, Ashok Wazir and booth president, Jangjeet at the estimated cost of Rs 12.5 lakh in which fixing of steel greetings and repair of lanes at different spots in Ward-41 would be done in this allotted work.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Baru said that proper drainage system is necessary at low lying areas of city of temples to make Jammu as Smart City.
He said BJP led by the principles of Good Governance and policies embedded by developmental vision is set to streamline all the primary requirements of the common masses. Recent budget of Union Government is the testimony to the fact that dynamic BJP leadership under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is committed to the holistic development and progress of the nation and its residents.
He said that the present work of the drain was much needed essentially by the locals and that they will be at ease after the completion of the work. He said that soon other works in the area will also be started and requested the locals to share their concerns about the ongoing development work he added.
