JAMMU, Feb 8: Anti-encroachment-cum-illegal mining prevention drive held today in Tehsil Dansal.
During the driver, the land measuring 1 kanal and 5 marlas of GPS Sohal, Tehsil Dansal which was illegally encroached has been retrieved. The fencing has been done and the land has been handed over to ZEO Dansal for construction of 2 new additional classrooms of the school.
Ten tippers carrying illegally acquired sand and bajri were seized from Village Kothar and and village Kopota placed at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli for handing over to Geology and Mining Department.
The State land measuring 302 kanals and 10 marlas has been retrieved in Village Chillar and board of state land has been put up on the spot.
The drive was conducted jointly by Revenue and Police Departments authorities and was led by Dhruv Gupta Tehsildar Dansal, Inspector Devinder Singh SHO Jhajjar Kotli and PSI Ayub Khan Incharge Police Post Manwal.
