JAMMU, Feb 8: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has approved the lift of its new office bearers for its SC Cell/ Department of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee to strengthen the organization at various levels.
The AICC general secretary KC Venugopal with the consent of Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, National Coordinator Departments K. Raju, Rajesh Lilothia, Chairman SC Dept AICC, PCC president Ghulam Ahmed Mir and Chairman Pradesh SC Dept, Karan Bhagat has approved the new appointments with immediate effect.
The new district Chairpersons are- Dewan Chand- Jammu (Urban), Vinod Kumar – Samba, Yog Raj – Kathua, Shamsher Chand – Rajouri while Jai Ram Bhagat – Ramban.
The new vice chairpersons are- Jagdish Bhagat from Jodhpur in Doda, Capt(Rtd.) Mulkh Raj from Doda, Om Prakash Bhagat from Dhindey Kalan in RS Pura, Geetan Singh from Janipur, Jammu; Dr Raj Paul Hans from Paloura, Jammu; Ram Pal from Ghomanhasan, Jammu and Babu Ram from Sunderbani.
The new general secretaries/coordinators are- Vinay Bushan from Samba, Pankaj Bhagat from Sunderbani, Kewal Krishan Jogi from Shaktinagar Jammu; Sunil Thappa from Channi Nanak in Jammu and Pawan Bhagat from Chatha in Jammu.
The new secretaries/conveners are- Ashok Kumar from Suchetgarh, Baldev Raj from Akhnoor, Dev Raj from Paloura, Jammu; Parshotam Lal from Glar in Samba; Vijay Kumar from Paloura Jammu; Ashok Kumar from Paloura Jammu; Jagdish Raj from Sadwha, Marh; Sansar Chand from Lamberi in Nowshera; Mohan Singh from Qila Darhal, Nowshera and Sub. Karam Chand from Nowshera.
Coordinator Mahila Wing is Lalita Rai from Ghat in Doda whole Legal Cell head is Adv Khiladi Lal Goran from Janipur, Jammu.
