BLSKS presents Dogri musical play

JAMMU, Feb 8: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) today presented Dogri musical play “Corona Cha Je Bachna Muh Mask Kane Takna” in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production at Janipur, here in its 316th Tuesday series.
The Program was inaugurated by chief guest Dr Anju Dogra, Govt. Health Department J&K, while VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, JK Raina, freelancer producer director films and Dr Tara Singh Charak , former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department were the guests of honor.
The songs presented during the play were written and directed by Dr ML Dogra, former Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Government of India.
The chief guest highlighted the importance of physical health of human beings and prevention from Coronavirus disease. “If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance,” he said and suggested that regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or washes their hands with soap and water.
The BLSKS is creating awareness on the subject by staging musical play consisting of skits, dances and songs etc. The main attraction of the program was song, sung by the artists including “Apu Bachna Duyen Gi Bachana Sabne Gi Samjana”, “Jan Jan Jan Mada Corona Rog Gi Jaan “, “Mahamari Ayi Corona”, “Do Gaz Di Duri Bade Zaroori” and folk songs, skits and dances. The music of the play was assisted by MC Kotwal, general secretary BLSKS.
Usha Raina appealed to people to take the most effective steps to protect themselves from the Corona and wear a mask.
The singers, musician and actors who performed the play were MC Kotwal, Usha Raina, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Rahul Kumar, Raju Bajgal, Manik, Jiya Barua, Rupali Sharma, Zulekha Farid, Ranjeet Singh, Sumeeta Bhat, Adhiraj and many others.
Deepak Kumar, program coordinator presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
