JAMMU, Feb 9: JMC Councillor and Chairman Social Justice Committee, Ajay Gupta here today started work of lanes and drains at Ambedkar Nagar and its adjoining areas in Ward number 52, which will incur an expenditure of Rs. 35 lakh.
Vinay Gupta, BJP district president Jammu who was also present on the occasion said, BJP is committed to providing all basic amenities to the people.
He further said that the nation is having a bold and capable leader, Narendra Modi as Prime Minister who is committed for national cause. Speaking on the occasion Ajay Gupta said that work of lanes and drains in the area was a long pending demand of the people which has now started.
He asked the people to maintain cleanliness around their surroundings and avoid throwing garbage in lanes and drains.
District BJP secretary, Narinder Koki; Mahila Morcha state cashier, Anuradha Sharma; Nitin Thappa, Ward president; Ajay Baddan, Hans Raj, Pawan Gupta, Bodh Raj Sharma, Sayam Gupta, Monu Gupta, Sham Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
