Kishtwar Clashes: Omar announces relief of Rs 2 lakh

JAMMU :  The state government announced a relief of Rs 2 lakh for affected ones in the clashes between two groups in Kishtwar, said Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The Chief Minister today reviewed the situation prevailing in Jammu at a meeting attended by various Members of Council of Ministers and discussed various measures relating to the rehabilitation of the affected people in the clashes.
It was also decided in the meeting to sanction immediate relief to the maximum of Rs two lakh each to those whose houses have been damaged or gutted and shops looted during the unfortunate clashes in various areas of Jammu Division.
Meanwhile, the state government has also ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident by a retired Judge of the High Court in a time bound manner.
