KATHUA, Feb 11: National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team visited Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Kathua, here today.
The peer team was welcomed by Chairman of the College Dr Surinder Kohli, Principal Dr Brij Bala Kohli, IQAC Coordinator Priyanka Sharma as well as students of College. The College Principal Dr Brij Kohli presented her presentation before the team, followed by the team inspected different cells, labs, units and committees of the College.
They also interacted with students and the management committee members and alumni wherein Dr Ram Singh Sambyal, Prof Gian Chand Sharma, Jai Singh Katal and other staff members shared their experiences.
After the interactive session, a cultural programme was organised on the theme women empowerment and Dogra culture. The event started with the traditional lightning of the lamp.
At last, the Peer team of the NAAC led by Dr Sheila Stephen, Chairperson of the team handed over the report card to College Principal and IQAC Coordinator. She appreciated the efforts of the Institution during COVID-19 pandemic to provide all possible helps for students and staff members.
The vote of thanks was presented by IQAC coordinator Priyanka Sharma and senior administrator Harbans Singh, while Accounts Officer Naresh Kumar, School Education Ambassador Ravi Kundal, Sandeep Sharma and Vinod Verma were also present.
