KISHTWAR, Feb 11: Dachhan Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Dachhan led by SHO Inspector Vikram Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Ashish Gupta laid a naka at Danrashi Tandar Dachhan and apprehended a drug peddler along with 25 grams of cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Ashiq Hussain, son of Ghulam Hassan of Thachna Dachhan District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 06/2022 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Dachhan and investigation set into motion.
