JAMMU, Feb 11: Peer Mitha Police recovered a missing minor girl within 24 hours.
As per police sources, yesterday a man namely Aftab Ahmed Lone, son of Jander Lone of District Kishtwar, at present Baba Jeewan Shah Gali Jammu lodged a report with Police Station Peer Mitha stating that a minor girl aged around 15 years, who was working at his home is missing.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 06/22 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and hunt was launched to recover the missing minor.
After putting in hectic efforts and CCTV cameras footages, the team recovered the girl from Jammu Bus Stand within 24 hours.
After completing legal formalities, the girl was handed over to legal heirs.
Police team led by SHO Peer Mitha Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq recovered the missing girl under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa.
