RAJOURI, Feb 12: The villagers from Narian area of Nowshera held protest demonstration against PHE authorities today.
At around 2 pm today, the locals from Sangpur area in Panchayat Halqa Narian (B) started protest demonstration against PHE Nowshera Division, demanding adequate supply of water. The villagers under the leadership of one local person namely- Mela Ram raised loud slogans against PHE Division Nowshera. They alleged shortage of drinking water in the area and poor response from the local field staff.
They requested the Nowshera Administration to issue directions to concerned PHE officers and staff concerned for ensuring proper supply of water to the villagers. After protesting for about half an hour they dispersed.
