Lal Chand kick starts construction work of Batota to Dalsar road

UDHAMPUR, Feb 12: District Development Council (DDC) Udhampur Chairperson Lal Chand today kick started construction work of much awaited Batota to Dalsar road under PMGSY with an estimate cost of Rs 25 crores.
It was a long pending demand of public to construct Batota to Dalsar a road connecting several villages.
The road work was started in presence of Vice Chairperson DDC Udhampur Juhi Manhas, BDC Ghordi Arti Sharma, Xen PMGSY, J E PMGSY, Sarpanchs, Panchs of various Panchayats, senior citizens and locals.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Udhampur Chairman Lal Chand said that he was committed to work for masses and wherever possible, he was trying his level best to provide the best infrastructure to the people of Udhampur district.
BDC Ghordi Arti Sharma also spoke and said that the Government was committed for the welfare of the common masses. She also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Dr Jitendra Singh (MoS PMO) for sanctioning the road.
