JAMMU, Feb 13: The partially decomposed body of an unknown man of age about 35-40 years was recovered today from River Tawi in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
“The body was spotted by some locals near Tawi River bed at Kupar, Nagrota. On their information, a team of police station Nagrota reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem,” police sources said.
They said inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Nagrota.
