Institutions closed, KAS medical postponed

JAMMU, Aug 12: In the wake of curfew restrictions, all education institutions across Jammu province shall remain closed on August 13 while the medical examination of KAS candidates has also been postponed.
According to an official communiqué, Divisional administration has ordered closure of all education institutions on Tuesday.
The Jammu University has also announced that the class work would remain suspended on August 13 in view of the prevailing curfew. The University has already announced postponement of all exams, which were scheduled to be held on August 12 and 13.
Meanwhile, according to a notice issued by the Chairman of Medical Board Examination, Medical Superintendent Chest Disease Hospital Jammu, Dr Manoj Chalotra, medical examination of the KAS candidates, scheduled to be held on August 12 onwards, has been postponed.
Next date for the medical exam shall be notified separately.
