JAMMU, Feb 17: Shiromani Gurmat Granthi Ragi Sabha (SGGRS) has demanded arrest of culprits who attacked Rangil Singh of Gurudwara Sahib Kaluchak a month ago.
Addressing a press conference here today, Balvinder Singh (social activist) along with  Nirmal Singh, chairman SGGRS stated that on 19th January some miscreants broke the back glass of Rangeel Singh’s car parked outside Gurudwara Sahib Sant Baba Prem Singh ji Muraley Waley Kaluchak (Santokh Vihar, Jammu) where he had gone to perform his regular duty.
They said an FIR was lodged with police station Gangyal but no further action was initiated and in the meanwhile, on January 24, again when Rangil Singh was going to the Gurdwara Sahib in the early morning at 4.30 on his motor cycle, the same miscreants followed him a Maruti-800 car and hit his motorcycle intentionally from the back side to liquidate him.
“In the mishap, Rangil Singh was badly hurt, his right arm fractured from the shoulder and is still recovering. Again, an FIR was lodged with police post Greater Kailash but till today there had not been any progress in the investigation,” they said and appealed SSP Jammu to take  serious note of this incident and bring the culprits to book so that the aggrieved  gets justice.
