JDU for reconsideration of delimitation report

JAMMU, Feb 17:  The Janta Dal United (JDU) has demanded reconsideration of Delimitation Commission report after due practical, physical spot verification of each old constituency and proposed draft constituencies which will itself  disclose the comparison of disparity.
In a joint statement the leaders of the party Sanjay Dhar, State general secretary, Vivek Bali State secretary, P.L.Pandita, chairman displaced J&K, Gowher Wani State spokesperson and others said that the Delimitation Commission being an independent and autonomous body should reconsider the establishment of revised constituencies after framing Sub Committees in each district with inclusion of intellectuals civil society members of each district and politicians so that the voters of the UT can believe that democratic set up is still alive as is guaranteed by the Constitution of India.
They also expressed its dismay for not considering three constituencies to be reserved on temporary basis in exile for Kashmiri displaced community which requires reconsideration till their safe and dignified return and rehabilitation in Valley.
