31 bovine animals rescued, two held

JAMMU, Feb 19: Police here rescued 31 bovine animals and arrested two persons in this regard.
A handout of police department stated that 27 bovine animals were rescued at Suketar near Jhajjar Kotli from different vehicles bearing numbers-JK02CS/8051, JK02CR/6093, JK02CK/0452, JK02CP/2486, JK03H/1502, JK02CH/7592 and JK14D/9054 while four bovine animals were rescued at Ban Toll Plaza in Nagrota from a vehicle of Mahindra Balero make bearing number JK21H/1983.
In this regard, Police Stations Jhajjar Kotli and Nagrota have registered FIRs U/S 188/IPC 11 Act.
Two accused Ghulam Murtza son of Riaz Ahmed of Asrarabad, Sidhra, Jammu and Anzir Ali son of Bashir Ahmed Kasana of Kukar Nag, Anantnag at present Tanda, Nagrota in Jammu have been arrested.
The bovines were rescued and arrests were made by SHO Jhajjar Kotli, Inspector Devinder Singh and SHO Nagrota, Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the overall supervision of SDPO Nagrota, Pardeep Kumar.
