Jammu, Feb 19: Security forces today arrested a terror suspect at Thathri in Doda district and recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.
He has been identified as Adil Iqbal Butt son of Mohammed Iqbal Butt, a resident of Sazan Bajarni in Doda district, affiliated with LeT outfit.
A joint team of Army, SSB and local police intercepted him at Thathri and apprehended him with one Chinese pistol, two magazines and nine rounds. Preliminary investigation revealed that he was being handled by Mohd Amin alias Muzambil alias Haroon alias Umar who is a terrorist from Doda and presently operating from Pakistan.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 0025/2022 under relevant Sections of law has been registered at Police Station Thathri and further investigation has been taken up.
