JAMMU, Feb 21: Gandhi Nagar police has solved a theft case of a truck loaded with Coca Cola cases.
According to a police spokesman, on receiving information by police post Digiana regarding theft of a truck bearing registration number JK02S-9027 carrying 704 Coca Cola cases, a case FIR Number 40/2022 u/s 379 was registered at police station Gandhinagar and investigation started.
He said special police teams of police station Gandhinagar under the supervision of SDPO City South Sachit Sharma, were constituted to crack the case. “The police team led by SHO police station Gandhinagar Inspector Pankaj Sharma assisted by Incharge police post Digiana Sub Inspector Tarsem Lal with the help of CCTV footages of the area and timely human intervention, finally arrested the accused person,” he added.
Also stolen truck along with 704 Coca Cola cases was recovered from the possession of the accused, the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
