JAMMU, Feb 22: A meeting of J&K Unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was held here, today under the chairmanship of its president, Leelakaran Sharma in which brutal murder of Bajrang Dal activist, Harsh at Shimoga, Karnataka by Jehadi Islamic terrorists was strongly condemned.
It was demanded that such elements be strongly dealt under law of the land.
It was observed that Islamic Jehadis are hell bent to disturb the peace of the region as well as the country and immediate controversy raised over Hijab issue by such elements is also surely the part of their nefarious plan.
Bajrang Dal activist Harsh, who had a proven nationalist credentials and always used to take a clear stand against anti national elements was eliminated in this cowardly act to create a fear psychosis among nationalist peace loving Hindu community but VHP makes it clear to one and all that it will not allow such coward terrorists to grow in this great country and if need arises Hindu Samaj will not hesitate to go to any extent to keep country safe from such elements, he added.
VHP also demanded a thorough probe to nab the conspirators behind these cowardly terrorists as well so that they shouldn’t be able to repeat such acts.
State VHP team assured its full sympathies with family of Karnatka activist and observed a two minute silence in his memory.
