JAMMU, Feb 22: Taranjit Singh Tony, DDC Member Suchetgarh has questioned the logic behind restoring the statehood after holding the Assembly elections in J&K and demanded that the Government should act prudently by reversing the sequence.
In a statement issued here, today, the DDC member welcomed the announcement made by Home Minister, Amit Shah for holding Assembly elections in J&K within year’s time after the completion of ongoing delimitation process in the UT which is expected to culminate within two three months as already draft report has been presented to associate members and suggestions and objections have been received for further action.
