UDHAMPUR, Feb 22: Some thieves broke open a General Store shop at Sayal Salan on the National Highway Udhampur, here last night and took away cash as well as some other items worth over Rs 50,000.
According to the reports, the theft took place last night at Sharma General Store when some unknown thieves barged into the shop of Tara Chand Sharma, resident of Sayal Salan and took away cash as well as some other items from the shop.
The owner came to know about the theft in the morning and lodged a complaint in this regard at Udhampur Police Station.
The police have registered the case and started an investigation.
