DODA, Feb 23: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Doda Kishtwar Ramban range, Dr Sunil Gupta today visited District Police Office (DPO) here and held casual inspection.
He was welcomed by SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom at DPO.
DIG inspected various units, sections of DPO and DPL Doda including Police Public School, Police Station Doda, Women Police Station Doda, Administrative Complex, Sports and Gym Complex, Mess Block, PCR (functioning of CCTVs) and also gave necessary directions on general to upkeep of items.
DIG DKR range had also checked the mess of jawans in Police Station Doda in order to review the quality of the food being served to the jawans.
Later, a brief meeting was held in the office chamber of SSP Doda in DPO which was attended by all Gazetted Officers and other staff members of DPO.
DIG DKR range directed the participants to be proactive to avert any untoward incident.
He also directed to review the law and order preparedness in every police station and directed supervisory officers to check their alertness. He also advised to be on high alert during the coming days.
