JAMMU, Feb 24: Akhnoor Police arrested an absconding vehicle lifter.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Akhnoor led by SgCt Randeep Singh under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar conducted raid and arrested an absconding vehicle lifter.
The accused was identified as Daljeet Singh alias Jeeta, son of Sikander Singh of Mawa Karora Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 75/2021 under Section 379 IPC with Police Station Akhnoor. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by the Court of JMIC Akhnoor.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
