SRINAGAR, Feb 24: The People’s Democratic Party, president Mehbooba Mufti today nominated Imtiyaz Shah as the general secretary of the party incharge Chenab region.
The decision was taken in order to consolidate and augment the organizational strength of the party, a party spokesman said.
The party leadership today felicitated Imtiyaz Shah on his nomination and hoped that he would work to broaden the party base across Chenab region, the spokesman added.
