Career Counselling Session & Sensitization Programme held

RAJOURI, Feb 24: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal, District Administration Rajouri arranged a programme for students at MIE, School, Dhangri, here, known for quality education under the umbrella of Himalayan Education Mission Society, Rajouri.
The programme was organised to invite the attention of students towards various employment avenues, entrepreneurship for self sustainability at various levels. Awareness was imparted regarding various initiatives of Government among the students, to motivate them to combat failures courageously in order to keep going and achieve bigger in life.
The programme was attended by Bilal Rashid Mir DSEO Rajouri, Principal Mabood, MIE Dhangri, Dr Anum Mirza Women Welfare Officer, Rajouri, Nazma Sheikh, District Coordinator, DLCW, staff members of school and students.
In the beginning of the programme, Bilal Rashid Mir DSEO Rajouri highlighted the achievements of District Administration in respect of implementation of Mission Youth initiatives.
Sonam Mahajan, the Keynote Speaker gave a very inspiring and motivational lecture to the students and said that the tendency when we fail is that we become easily frustrated and then surrender. She informed the gathering regarding various initiatives of Government and scope to move to multinational companies for better opportunities. She tried to sensitize the girl students for Defence Services and Air Force Services, as they can choose the career in multi dimensional areas.
Dr Anum Mirza Women Welfare Officer, DLCW Rajouri elaborated about the initiatives of Government for women empowerment. MSK (DLCW) under MoWCD, Government of India is fully committed to bring revolutionary changes in the lives of women. Further in her speech, she sensitized students regarding their constitutional rights and powers. While laying stress on women empowerment, she asked the gathering to respect the women always so that girl child can fly free to live her life.
