JAMMU, Feb 24: Nowabad Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Khajuria apprehended an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused was identified as Parveen Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Kothay Bulandy Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case FIR Number 149/2013 under Section 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Nowabad.
Arrest warrant also stands issued against him by the Sub Registrar (JMIC) Jammu on march 31, 2015.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
