JAMMU : Two women were killed in a house collapse incident in Udhampur district due to heavy rains here today.
“Two women identified as Savitri Devi and Anju Devi resident of village Latti, Udhampur district died when their house collapsed due to heavy rains,” police sources here said.
The bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the debris.
Meanwhile, the blocked Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been thrown open for traffic.
“The National Highway which was blocked due to landslides at several places have been cleared for vehicular movement,” police said.
