RAJOURI, Feb 27: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has demanded implementation of Mandal Commission report in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a meeting of the AIBCU held today at village, Devak in Rajouri district, the prominent speakers demanded the due share of reservation by implementing Mandal Commission report in J&K as promised by BJP after abrogation of Art 370.
The speakers said when all the Central laws have been implemented in J&K UT then why only 4 % reservation is being given since 2020 which was elevated from 2% to 4% without any logic to the OBCs in UT where no census/ survey has been done so far.
It was explained by speakers among the participants that how the BJP Govt was running the country on the name of `Ram Rajya’ instead of Indian Constitution. It appears that local BJP unit is doing only false propaganda over the OBC’s quota since 2014 and befooling them for vested interests.
They alleged that OBC community has lost its faith in BJP and the promises made never fulfilled. No employment is being provided to the educated youth, and just hollow promises are made. All the speakers resolved to fight tooth and nail for their constitutional rights.
The programme was organized by the Ex- Sarpanch Om Parkash Prajapati who initiated the programme by paying tributes to Sant Gora Ji Maharaj on his birthday celebration.
Others who spoke on the occasion were, Nitan Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Kewal Puri, Madan Verma, Prof Kali Dass and MR Bangotra.
