KARGIL, Feb 28: A meeting was held at BJP office here under the chairmanship of Mohd. Ali Majaz, BJP vice president Ladakh.
Speaking in the meeting Majaz said that MP Ladakh has assured that mobile communication connectivity will be provided within two years to the entire Ladakh by installing towers.
He said that already 60 per cent of Ladakh has been covered in this regard. Majaz said that mobile towers have been installed in many places in Kargil district and there are many places where there towers are yet to be installed.
He informed that an in-charge in each block will compile a list of areas which will be soon be submitted to MP Ladakh so that the left over areas might also be connected with telephone connectivity as soon as possible.
