JAMMU, Aug 16: As per a notice issued here today by Chief Engineer, Elect. Maintt. & R.E. Wing, Jammu, the NHPC authorities are availing shutdown of Salal Power Station from 8 a.m. on 19-08-2013 upto 8 a.m. of 20-08-2013 for reservoir flushing of Salal Power Station.
All the electricity consumers have been requested to bear with any unscheduled distress load shedding during the period.
The people have been appealed to use power judiciously during the period to prevent overloading of system.
Meanwhile, as per SE EM&RE Circle Kishtwar, the power supply will remain affected in Chatroo, Dachhan, Palmar, Kurya, Dedpeth, Bhandarkoot, Passerkoot, Sigid and Tagood area (Kishtwar District) due to replacement of damaged power transformer of Receiving Station Dedpeth.
