JAMMU, Aug 16: Police today arrested two criminals along with sharp-edged weapons in RS Pura area of the winter capital.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from RS Pura Police Station laid a naka at Main Chowk Baspur and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration Number JKO2AA-3081.
During checking, police recovered two sharp edged weapons (tokka and Khokhri) and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Davinder Kumar, son of Janak Raj of Rangpur Malanya, RS Pura and Rohit Gupta, son of Yashpal, resident of Ward No 5, RS Pura.
A case under FIR number 139/13 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
