JAMMU, Aug 16: As part of annual Machail Yatra of Goddess Chandi, the “Thali Pujan” was organized at Goddess Chandi Mata temple, Pacca Danga here today.
Meanwhile, the holy Akhand Jyoti of the Goddess will leave for Sarv Shakti Shri Chandi Mata Ji Mandir Chinote, Bhaderwah in the morning at 5:30 am from Chandi Mata temple Pacca Danga. The Jyoti after passing through various markets of the city will leave at 7:00 am from Indira Chowk for Chinote temple. The yatris in the form of a religious procession along with “Thali Mubarak” will pass through Pacca Danga, Jain Bazar, Link Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar and other bazaars.
In addition, the annual Charri Yatra of Goddess Chandi Mata will leave for Machail Mata Mandir, Paddar on August, 18, 2013.
